Parent Council

Eastern Parent Council meets regularly throughout the school year to support the school on its improvement journey and organise a number of annual fund-raising events.

Parents and carers are warmly invited to attend any of our meetings and events. 

We are very lucky to have the support of our families to work together to do this.

More news will follow once the group meet to discuss a plan of action.

This Year the Parent Council are focsuing on:

• Strengthening fundraising and boosting parent involvement by:
• -  Improving volunteer numbers
• - Refining major events like the Christmas Fair
• - Creating a more sustainable events plan.
• Investing in school improvements
• - Focusing on the ongoing library refurbishment
• - Building towards big projects such as the climbing wall
• Improving school event quality and safety
• - Including a long‑term no‑phone rule at discos
• - Investigating better systems for busy events like Santa visits
