P2-P7 Curriculum Evening

Thank you to all of our parents who came along to our curricular evening on Tuesday 8th September. This allowed for parents/carers to meet  their child's teacher and to hear about the learning and teaching that will be undertaken in class. We hope this was worthwhile and that parents who attended will encourage more parents to come next year.

Fundraiser for Nepal

On Friday 8th May we will be having a fundraiser for Nepal. Children can wear an item of "Nifty neckwear" such as a nice necklace, tie or scarf. If you can a donation for this worthy cause would be greatly appeciated.

P7 Residential Trip to Dalguise

Primary 7 were in Dalguise 28th April -1st May 2015.  It was a great 4 days with the children achieving so much. They worked together in teams as well as trying out new challenges as individuals. This is something we have done annually for a number of years now.

 

 

 

     

 

 

 

 

   

 

P6 African Drumming

  

P6 have been learning how to play the african drums. They presented to their parents/carers.

Easter Service

Mrs Caldwell led the whole school in an Easter Service on Wednesday 1st April. She told the Easter story with help from some volunteers!

 

       

 

Grove/Eastern Science work

 

P7 had a visit from Grove Science Department. The were learning out sound, vibrations and how sound travels.

 

 

                  

Comic Relief Day!

On March 13th 2015 we supported Red Nose Day. We dressed in our casual clothes and made our face Funny for Money. We raised £434.17! Fantastic! Thank you to everyone who supported this event.

 

    

    

 

 

Shakespeare Rocks!

P6 and P7 put on a fantastic performance of Shakespeare Rocks at Gardyne Theatre on the 10th and 11th of March 2015.

 

 

 

  

Spring Discos

P1-3 had a fantastic time at the Spring Discos!

 

  

 

    

Girls Football Team

Our P6 and P7 girls football team took part in a festival at Soccerworld and were very successsful.
